We all love taking some “me-time” during the week. For some of us, that means going to the salon and getting pampered. I recently ventured into the world of gel nail polish and it has honestly saved my life. Gel manicures take a little longer to apply than regular manicures but they also last about 2 weeks longer. Now that spring is here, I wanted to try out a brighter nailpolish color so I made a visit to my favorite salon, Christie Pea Salon and Spa.
Christie Pea Salon and Spa is relatively close to campus, located on 100th ave and SW 72nd street. It’s a great place to stop by on your way home from school if you live in the area or to visit on the weekends with your besties. They have 2 locations in the same shopping center with an extremely large nail polish selection to choose from, inlcuding some of our favorite brands. They offer an array of services to add onto your mani/pedi such as foot scrubs and bathbombs. Each mani/pedi includes a 5 minute foot and hand massage which could possibly be the most relaxing part of your day. The staff is extremely nice  and welcoming and the owner, Christie, is always there to make your experience much better by offering complimentary wine, coffee, tea and water. If you’re REALLY hungry….. Good news! They have their very own juice and organic food bar in the back of the salon and spa called “The JUICY PEA.”Â

I have been to several salons in Miami and have yet to find one with such amazing customer service as well as amazing beauty services to choose from. This spring, grab your bestie and head over to Christie Pea Salon and Spa. Enjoy some fresh organic juices and girl time while getting your gel mani/pedis. You can even check them out on instagram at @Chrisitepea.beautylounge.
P.S. the color I went with was This Cost Me a Mint by OPI
