Your aesthetic is your appreciation for beauty, things that catch your eye. There are so many tools you can use to find your aesthetic and your style. Everybody is different and your personality and interests don’t have to match the latest trends, that’s the beauty of it all, embrace your funky side! Here are a few tips and trick to find your true aesthetic:

  1. Explore Pinterest: the greatest tool at your disposal! This app allows you to discover all kinds of different styles that will catch your eye. You can download pictures from this app and create the ultimate mood board.

  2. Go to hardware stores and visit the paint aisle to explore different colors. This will allow you to look at all the different shades in one place to find the right one for your new aesthetic.

  3. Visit websites such as REDBUBBLE and SOCIETY6  that create custom art pieces that you’ll never be able to find anywhere else. They have everything, so your choices are limitless. 

  4. Once you discover your color to match your new aesthetic, you should create a specific theme for your Instagram feed. Whether it be cream neutral tones or dark urban tones, you can’t go wrong. It’s YOUR taste and the most important tip is to just have fun with this process. This is a self-discovery journey that takes time and appreciation.
