TikTok has become one of the most used social media platforms in the modern era due to the versatility of content you can find. There is a space for everyone on TikTok, and whether you want to relax and watch ASMR or learn about trending topics, there’s a video for you. While my For You Page may be a messy place, I’ve curated my top 3 accounts on all of TikTok and here’s why:

1.@therapyjeff

This account is by far my favorite account on TikTok. Jeff is a licensed professional counselor who posts 60 second videos once a day about mental health and related topics. The reason why I love this account is because Jeff spreads awareness regarding mental health in a way that is light and comical, but also has the depth and respect that is necessary when addressing such issues. He mainly focuses on creating informative videos that allow the viewer to have a deeper understanding of the topic, but he also makes sure to mention useful things to consider or things that might help the situation if you are the one dealing with the topic he is talking about. He has always shown to be open to feedback, and he makes sure to create a safe space for dialogue with his viewers to ensure everyone feels safe and included.

2. @jennmelon

While Jenn may not be educational in the slightest, she is one of the few content creators on TikTok that can match almost anyone’s sense of humor. She has videos that target the darker side of humor, which not everyone may find funny (however, she never crosses the line of disrespect), but she also has videos that even if they don’t make sense, they are still somehow hilarious. This is the type of account to go to if you want to have a mindless laugh, because I believe the point of her account is to not try to make sense of the content. I perceive this account as a fine craft, since she makes her videos seem organic and spontaneous, but she always finds a way to include a surprise factor every single second of the video. My favorite thing about her, is that you never know what to expect next.

3. @juuliapuig

I find Julia to be a visual artist when it comes to content creation. Julia posts videos with bright, naturalistic visuals that focus on outdoor and on-the-road living with her partner. I find her posts to be like mini-movies, since almost all her videos have the same format of short clips condensed into a bigger video about the same trip or the same location, with music that fits the vibe of the place, which almost makes you feel like you are there. Her videos are very dreamlike, reminding the viewer that while we may live in a fast-paced society, too modern for the fairy-like-minded, there’s also a space for the people who are about slow living.
