It’s that time of year again, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival is finally here! For five days, Feb 21-25, all the biggest stars of the food world will take over South Beach and host 85+ dinners and events showcasing world-class wine, spirits, food, and fun.

The festival, which is celebrating its 17th year, is partnered with FIU and benefits FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center. According to the SOBEWFF website, the festival has raised upward of $26 million for the school.

What began as a one-day festival, called the Florida Extravaganza and held on FIU’s Biscayne Bay campus, has now become a star-studded five-day event that attracts over 65,000 guests each year. Festival founder Lee Brian Schrager says this year will have new takes on old events, as well as completely new ones for everyone to enjoy. “Our goal is to keep making the festival fresh and to continue to deliver a consistently good program,” he says. “This year will be stellar.”
