It’s April and there’s sooo much to be happy about. Happy Spring! Happy end of the semester! Happy Fordhamopoly and may the odds be ever in your favor. Okay kidding on the last one, but seriously good luck.
April Trends:
High-low dresses: This trend has popped up for spring, high-low dresses are everywhere. They’re short in the front and long in the back, giving you the best of both worlds’ mini and maxi effects. If you can’t decide whether you want to be beachy-chic in a maxi dress, or summer-flirty in a mini, go high-low!
Ombre shorts: Yes, ombre like the hair trend. If you like to take risks with your wardrobe, then try a pair of ombre shorts this spring/summer. We guarantee you’ll turn heads with the bold color fade phenomenon.
One Tree Hill:
We can’t even believe we have to say this, but One Tree Hill said goodbye this month after nine seasons. All we can say is this is why DVD’s were invented. Luckily we can relive all nine seasons of Lucas, Nathan, Haley and the rest of the tree hill gang over and over and over. It was a little disappointing not to see Lucas and Peyton in the final season, but Tree Hill was full of drama anyway. We were on the edge of our seats waiting for Nathan to be rescued, totally freaked out when Xavier returned to haunt Brooke, and in tears when Dan Scott died. So sad it’s over, but for now we’ll watch the DVD’s and wait patiently for One Tree Hill 2.0…Titanic 3D: Not sure, but this might be the best thing that ever happened since…well, since the first time a young Leo was on the big screen. Revamping the classic into a 3D version for the 100th anniversary of the ship’s tragic sinking was a great idea! Admit it, you wish you were Kate Winslet. We were surprised to find out that a lot of collegiettes hadn’t seen Titanic until now, were you?
What’s out: Stressing over “it’s almost bikini season” body issues.
What’s in: Skipping class to soak up the sun on Eddies.
