Earlier this month ELLE Magazine hosted an event at Bloomingdale’s Soho and it was every beauty-lover’s dream. Presided over by ELLE‘s Beauty and Fitness editor, Cotton Codinha, the event covered every beauty product that would be trending in the new year. 

The cosmetics floor of Bloomingdale’s was decked out with Chinese New Year decorations; pretty fitting for the “All New, All You” theme of the event. Each makeup counter was mobbed with women of all ages getting free mini makeovers while sipping on champagne and snacking on dessert.

Each pro behind the counter was also offering up free samples and tips and tricks for a fresh new look. Even better, this month’s issue of ELLE focuses on strong women in the entertainment industry; exactly the type of magazine we need to be reading as women in 2018.
