It’s no secret that Fordham and its Jesuit tradition emphasize service. Global Outreach, a special program at Fordham, sends student on service learning and cultural immersion trips throughout the year, usually during school breaks. This past spring break, several teams went on projects, including GO! Adirondacks – which focused on sustainable agriculture- and GO! San Diego – which focused on homelessness.

Sarah is a member of the Class of 2013 at Fordham University, where she's a double-major in American Studies and Communication & Media Studies. A South Florida native, she is still adjusting to the cold and figuring out the basics of a winter wardrobe.
