Why Fordham? I chose Fordham because I knew I wanted to be involved in sports broadcasting, and couldn’t think of a better place to get my start than in the media capital of the world. I was also inclined to continue a Jesuit education after four years at Xavier High School in New York City.

What animal do you relate to the most? The animal I relate to the most is a squirrel, at least that’s what my roommates would say. I’m a bit hyper and can change from one subject to the next very fast, so I suppose I’m a bit like a squirrel in that regard.

Favorite sports team(s)? New York Rangers, New York Giants, New York Yankees, Dallas Mavericks and, of course, my Fordham Rams.

Ideal Date? Ideal date is center ice at a Ranger game in the Garden.

Conway Twitty or Waka Flocka? Have to go with Conway Twitty over Waka Flocka. Thanks, Seth MacFarlane.

Favorite Movie? Favorite movie is Get Him to the Greek. I saw it in theater three times because I thought it was that funny. I also do a pretty decent Russel Brand impersonation and know every line in the movie. The music isn’t half bad either.

Favorite professor/class here at Fordham and why? Dr. Beth Knobel’s Journalism Workshop was my favorite class at Fordham. Dr. Knobel is one of the most knowledgeable journalist’s I have ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with, and her workshop helped me to become a better writer. As the adviser ofThe Fordham Ram and my academic adviser, Dr. Knobel has had a major impact on my time here at Fordham and I would not be the writer I am today if it wasn’t for her.

What will you miss the most when you graduate? I will miss working as a member of WFUV Sports. Being a Jesuit school, Fordham doesn’t have fraternities. That’s false; the WFUV Sports family is Fordham’s fraternity, and a pretty amazing one at that. The men and women I have been with since training in freshman year are some of my closest friends here at Fordham, and I’m grateful to know each and every one of them. Bob Ahrens is an amazing executive producer, teacher and friend that keeps all of us in line and I can’t imagine life without my FUV family, so I think that will be the toughest adjustment after graduation.

If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? If I had the choice, and the money, I would go to the island of the Turks and Caicos right now. I went there on an all-inclusive vacation two summers ago and it was phenomenal. Clear water, white sand and blue skies. Paradise.

Would you rather have dinner with Frank Sinatra or Ernest Hemingway? I would rather have dinner with Ernest Hemingway. Love Frank’s music, but I feel like a dinner discussion with a writer like Hemingway would be a life-changing conversation. Sinatra could be singing during the dinner, though. That would be great.
