It’s no secret by now that Serena Williams kills the fashion game just as much as she slays the actual game of tennis. The U.S. Open has been no exception.
On August 27th, Williams stepped onto the court at Arthur Ashe Stadium, not only to be victorious in her match against Magda Linette, but also while wearing a trendy off the shoulder dress complete with a tulle skirt, sparkly sneakers, and fishnet stockings.
This barrier breaking outfit was created by none other than Nike in collaboration with Virgil Abloh, creative director of Louis Vuitton and CEO of Off-White.
Williams has since competed in all of her matches wearing similar fashions ranging in colors from black to blue to lavender. Most notably embossed on Williams sneaker is the word, “QUEEN.”
