One of the things I love most about clothes is how you can easily and effortlessly borrow from different sections in the store to create your own unique look. For this article and the outfits I have created I borrowed from my boyfriend’s closet. I combined his style with mine to build new looks for everyday wear.

1.      Boyfriend Jeans

For this pairing I actually borrowed my boyfriend’s jeans! I added my black sheer tank and black floppy hat to make it more girly. I also cuffed the jeans and wore my maroon booties for a pop of color. This outfit was very comfortable and perfect for a warm spring day. If you don’t feel comfortable with wearing big hats you can try a small headband or stack some fun bracelets for statement accessories!

2.      Classic White Button-Down

For this article of course I had to include this classic wardrobe staple! I decided to go work casual for this outfit pairing the white button-down with nude colored heels and my navy blue skirt. This skirt came with an orange belt which I thought worked well with the neutrals. To make this a more casual outfit you could tuck the shirt into a cute pair of high-waisted jeans and wear a fun pair of flats.

3.      Graphic Tee

This is one of my favorites of my boyfriend’s t-shirts because even though I don’t like Star Wars it is still pretty funny. It is Darth Vader riding a motorcycle, but since it is black, white, and gray; I layered a red statement necklace on top of it. I’m also wearing high-waisted skinny jeans and my combat boots. To go along with the motorcycle theme I also have my leather jacket!

4.      Flannel

I’m really loving shirt dresses right now and this is the perfect casual way to wear one! Just grab an oversized flannel from your favorite thrift store and make sure it fits a little longer than you want it so that you are able to belt it. I paired this long flannel with my faux fur vest and my winter booties. I then topped the whole thing off with a simple black skinny belt.

5.      Cardigan Sweater

For this look I was going for a beachy vibe with the flowy crocheted top and ripped jeans. Once the day gets colder as it turns into night on the beach I would use this cardigan sweater to cover up along with moccasins to keep my feet warm. My boyfriend lives on the cape so I will definitely be borrowing this cardigan for the bonfire nights on the beach!

6.      Jacket

For this last outfit I decided to use my boyfriend’s army green jacket that has a warm quilting inside. Lately I’ve been wearing a lot of green, black, and white so of course when I saw the green jacket I knew the color palate I wanted to use. I’m wearing my favorite patterned turtleneck with my high-waisted jeans. I’ve cuffed them to feature my black booties. This is a great look for a rainy winter day.
