Coloring Books
This is one of my favorite techniques. Just grab an adult coloring book (there are cheaps ones everywhere!) and get to coloring!
GroundingÂ
Look around your environment and find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.Â
Yoga
I love yoga!! It is so relaxing and makes me feel so good. Yoga is a good activity to stretch your muscles and relieve some of your anxiety at the same time.
Writing
Keep a diary! It really takes the weight off your shoulders when you write your feelings down.
Listen To MusicÂ
The type of music you listen to can really determine the mood you have during your day. So even though it can be tempting, don’t listen to sad music if you’re already feeling a little down. Try something more upbeat or relaxing, depending on what you need!
