Collected from my personal inventory, a few recommendations and some classics, I present to you: the perfect Valentine’s Day playlist. No ranking in particular; just a collection of the best.
1. “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra
You always need some classic love songs on any good V-day playlist! You can’t go wrong with Frank Sinatra!

2. “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye
How can you have a romantic night with your significant other with some Marvin Gaye? He is the king of romance.
3. “Arms” by Christina Perri
A heartfelt, but a somewhat upbeat song, singing about the hard and easy things in love.
4. “Passenger Seat” by Death Cab for Cutie
This song is slow, but the message is so pure and beautiful… “when you need direction, I’ll be the guide.” Super sweet and sentimental and gets you into your feelings (as Death Cab usually does).
5. “No One” by Alicia Keys
This song is timeless and a classic. It will never fail to have you sing your heart out, or just look at your boo with googly eyes.
6. “Old 45’s” by Chromeo
Something to bring the spark back into your relationship and just in time!
7. “Coming Home” by Leon Bridges
I have recently become a huge Leon Bridges fan. His music just gives you that warm feeling inside. This one is so sweet.
8. “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar (ft. H.E.R.)
Now I don’t know if you’ve heard of Daniel Caesar yet, but his voice is just something else. This song is almost your typical love song, but the vocals on this are especially amazing! Perfect for a date night paired with some candles.
9. “Better Together” by Jack Johnson
One of the classics. Jack Johnson makes me want to be on the beach with my love.

12. “Perfect Storm” by Brad Paisley
For those country lovers, I had to add this one: the perfect song to dedicate to someone.
13. “Redbone” by Childish Gambino
An obvious choice, but can’t be missed. Perfect for getting funky!

14. “Drunk Off Your Love” by Shwayze and Cisco
Now I know many of us have heard of Shwayze, but when he’s with his right-hand man Cisco Adler: even better! This song has been a jam for years and you can’t help but dance along.
15. “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls
As my cousin once said, “it’s the only ‘romantic’ song that actually makes me feel romantic.”
16. “Always Be My Baby” by Mariah Carey
For the 90’s R&B lovers, we can’t leave queen Mariah Carey out.
17. “Old School Love” by Ed Sheeran and Lupe Fiasco
The perfect mix of rap and Ed Sheeran.
