As the 2019 Emmy Awards comes to an end, so does the excitement of it as well. However, we will forever hold something close to our hearts from this highly anticipated awards show: the best dressed of the night. From the glittering gowns to the expensive jewelry, repeating trends (aka the pink and red of the night) as well as some very interesting choices. No matter how crazy the night gets, these celebrities have brought to us their very best and I have compiled my choice of the top 20 best dressed of this years’ Emmy’s, with personal commentary, of course!

Zendaya in Vera Wang
First of all, not only is she stunning AF, but she is stunning AF in a custom emerald green gown. Honestly, she never disappoints and that is the tea.

Kim Kardashian West in Vivienne Westwood
With this simple black gown, she showed off her bomb figure. This gown was boldly paired with chunky layered chains and a thick diamond cross. Kudos to Kimmy for never failing to bring the heat.

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton
Her dress spoke for itself and let me tell you, it said a lot. From the sequined embroidery to the sweetheart neckline, this gown was elegant and made her stand out. Literal heart eyes.

Naomi Watts in Dior Haute Couture
She truly wowed the crowd in her amazing black gown, from the mesh material that surrounded the entire dress to the sexy built-in bustier top. I also enjoy the belt accent around her waist that ties the look into one. Too HOT.

Catherine Zeta-Jones
Although she played it safe, this asymmetrical gown was classic and complimented her skin tone so well and the cape was what pulled this whole look together. A literal queen.

Mahershala Ali in Ermenegildo Zegna
I’ll have to say that Mahershala outdid himself with this Emmy look. Not only was he able to pull off this striking deep green suit so well but the fact that he even wore round-shaped sunglasses with it too? Like, Woah, he is a hot date.

Kristen Bell
This gorgeous multi-colored A-Line dress was something I did not expect from Kristen but are my eyes pleased to see her in this gorgeous dress? Heck yeah! The cut-out bodice was what complimented this whole dress and the flowy skirt balances it out.

Taraji P. Henson
So, was the dress code to wear red and pink? Because there were about five dresses with these colors. However, Taraji knew how to turn heads with the plunging neckline, the daring thigh-high slit and the cape! She looked more than great, to say the least.

Emilia Clarke in Valentino Haute Couture
Emilia truly embodies a timeless piece in this navy gown, and the plunging neckline made this simple gown very sexy yet elegant. 10/10 Ms. Clarke!

Regina King in Jason Wu
Regina stole the show in this baby blue halter gown, the thigh-high slit was just a plus tbh. She looked stunning and the color was a bold yet successful choice.

Marisa Tomei
There were a lot of pink and red gowns but this one was my favorite! From the asymmetrical design to the sexy thigh-high slit, Marisa looked yummy, to say the least!

Rachel Brosnahan
What better way to show off her curves than in this shimmering blue gown? Rachel looked like a precious jewel in this dress and the thigh slit was the cherry on top of this look.

Amy Poehler in Greta Constantine
Oh my gosh, this gold pantsuit suited Amy so well, from the undone black tie to the wide-leg style, she was a hot mama!

Annie Murphy
This dazzling deep blue gown was stunning and more. What made this gown look good on Annie was the ruched shoulders and the simple Chopard jewels.

Halsey
When I first saw this dress, I was like “OMG, Halsey really did that!” The whole ombré effect was what grabbed my attention in this ball gown. Her curly updo complimented her whole outfit so well!

Joey King in Zac Posen
Joey took my breath away with this gown. I saw her and immediately got Old Hollywood vibes, especially with her messy curly updo. She looked flawless as she embodied an elegant queen with this gown.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Oscar de la Renta
This dress was rather simple compared to the rest on this list, however, the gold gown is what made Julia’s skin glow. Not to mention the gold drop earrings she paired them with. A literal look.

Sophie Turner in Louis Vuitton
Oh Sophie, you never fail to make me cry over how pretty you are. This pale pink dress was something that looked like it came out of a movie, especially with the diamond choker necklace she accessorized with. She looked like a princess and I’m here for it!

Clea DuVall in Styland
Not only was this such a classic suit but the bowtie complimented the whole ensemble so well. Plus, the silver drop earrings made Clea look very exquisite.

Kendall Jenner in Richard Quinn
To put it bluntly, I have no idea how Kendall pulled this look off, but she did! Maybe it was the latex bodysuit she is wearing underneath or her hair pulled back but this was a fun look. Very interesting in its sense, nonetheless very appealing to the eye.
