There are some days when the thought of going to the gym and facing the crowd there is enough to make someone want to sit down in front of the TV with a bag of chips. We all know that the crowd at the Leach can get insane and that sometimes it’s not even worth it to go because you’ll just be waiting the whole time! Luckily, there are so many other fitness options, so take a day off from the gym, stay home and sweat it out on your own. Whether you feel like you’re in a fitness rut, you don’t have time to make it to the gym or you just don’t like going, here are 3 fun fitness options for you.
1. Yoga
Whether you’re just beginning to practice yoga or you have a practice of your own, there are plenty of options on YouTube to help you find inner peace and a fun workout too! Check out YouTubers like Yoga With Adriene or a plethora of videos shared by famous yogi Kino MacGregor for some easy workouts. You can also find yoga inspiration on Instagram where Kino Macgregor is also very active (@kinoyoga) or challenge yourself with the poses introduced by Carmen Aguilar from @cyogalab.

2. Pilates
There are thousands of videos of YouTube that exist to help you tighten your core and get a good workout from the comfort of your own home. A longtime favorite is the many videos put out by Cassey Ho from Blogilates. She has hundreds of videos to help you tone and tighten every square inch of your body.

3. BarreÂ
This method of exercise has become very popular recently, and for good reason too! This challenging workout relies on tiny isometric movements commonly found in classical ballet to help work out the smaller muscles of your legs, butt, abs and arms. You can get a full body and very challenging workout while becoming more graceful with barre. Mary Helen Bowers, the creator of the Ballet Beautiful method used by Natalie Portman while she was training for Black Swan, has a ton of videos on YouTube that you can use at home to become more toned and full of grace all at once!
