We’re back with another themed week on the site: Beauty Week. This semester, Her Campus FSU has created themed weeks dedicated to exclusive content we believe all of our readers should have access to. Keep up on the site for the next few days as we tackle everything from the best beauty brands to follow to the much-debated brazilian. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this.
Let’s face it. The Grammy’s are not only a time to celebrate the best-of-the-best in music; they’re also a great time for everyone to show off their incredible style. Along with any amazing outfit comes a killer makeup look. This year’s Grammy’s were no exception and celebrities walked the red carpet with some of their best looks yet. One of the best examples was Bella Hadid: One half of the famously drop dead gorgeous Hadid sisters. Her sultry and smoky makeup look went perfectly with her plunging black sparkly gown. Hadid’s makeup artist, Vincent Oquendo, was inspired by the movie La Dolce Vita to create her bronzed, Italian, bombshell look.

Her Campus FSU set out on a mission to find a student who could effortlessly pull off Hadid’s look and give us some tricks on how to achieve it. Luckily, we found Hanna Tandberg, a first-year FSU student, who gave us the run-down on how to recreate this gorgeous look.
For the eyes: Hanna used a mixture of colors from the L’Oreal LA Nude 2 palate and Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palate. She blended the darker chocolate colors together to get the desired smoky eye effect. She also used the Too Faced Natural Eyes palate in the color “sexpresso” to fill in her eyebrows. Hanna used Maybelline masterpiece eyeliner to draw just a fine black line across the lid. After curling her eyelashes with her Revlon eyelash curler, she used Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara to finish off her bold eye look.

For the face: Hanna is wearing Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream and Bare Minerals setting foundation as her base. To do some slight contouring and give her face a natural glow, she used Too Faced Bunny Bronzer; and for a little bit of natural flush she used Bare Minerals Ready Blush in the natural color. To add a slight shimmer on the top of her cheek bones, Hanna used a small amount of Bare Minerals mineral veil as well.

For the lips: Hanna is pretty much obsessed with anything Too Faced or Bare Minerals related, so it’s no surprise that she wanted to use all Bare Minerals products for her lips. On her lips she d used Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lip liner, lipstick and lip gloss to finish off this gorgeous look!

After all was said and done, Hanna looked absolutely stunning in this simple, beautiful makeup look. The recreation was pretty simple: smoky eye, bronzed skin and a pinky-nude lip. #flawless. Hopefully this look has inspired all you lovelies out there to get creative with your makeup routine and try out some new red-carpet worthy looks!
