Netflix has released a lineup of which movies and shows will be added throughout the month of December and it’s good. Check out some of the most exciting titles below:
8 Mile
To kick off the month of December, Eminem’s groundbreaking film will finally be on Netflix. A movie that closely relates to Eminem’s harsh upbringing, shows the life of an aspiring rapper growing up in Detroit, Michigan. Even though the movie soundtrack sold 3.2 million copies in its first two months, Eminem didn’t show up that year to the Academy Awards when nominated for “Lose Yourself” because he didn’t think a rap song could win. It did.
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, When Nature Calls
Calling all Jim Carrey fans because BOTH Ace Ventura movies are back. If you’re feelin’ nostalgic, Netflix definitely has you covered with these two additions.
The Little Rascals
Turning on a classic 90s comedy of mischievous little rascals is the perfect way to unwind after finals week. Plus, we could all use some of Darla’s sass in our lives.
Nacho Libre
A movie that will have you laughing and awing over an orphanage cook who disguises himself as a professional wrestler in order to raise money for the children he cares for. Look no further for a Jack Black classic.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
One of 2017’s highest selling movies, clocking in at an impressive $863,000,000 in box office sales. Even if Marvel isn’t your thing, Chris Pratt definitely is.
The Crown: Season 2
The wait has been long, but I know it will have been worth it. If you haven’t already seen the first season of the Netflix Original series, The Crown, start your binging now! If you’re anything like me (obsessed with all things British and accents), this chronicle of Queen Elizabeth II reign will have you hooked and wanting in on every secret of the Royal Family. We can only hope that Prince Philip pulls it together this season.
Disney’s The Santa Clause Trilogy
I feel like I owe Netflix a personal thank you for not only adding one of Disney’s, The Santa Clause, but ALL THREE. An adorable installment of the life of a single father, Tim Allen, turned Santa Claus overnight.
The Ranch: Part 4
A show about a dysfunctional family that takes place on Iron River Ranch, is finally back! The last half of the second season is ready to debut, and earlier in the year Netflix announced that the show was signed for season three. This is music to our ears because this means we can all breathe a little easier knowing that Ashton Kutcher won’t be leaving out TV screens anytime soon.
Fuller House: Season 3
It’s baaaack! Can’t wait to catch up with some of TV’s most beloved characters to see where they all are now starting Dec. 22.
Planet Earth II
A high definition nature documentary that shows a compelling view of our planet’s inhabitants in a way that we’ve never seen before- wild, natural and free. Bring on all of the cute animals.
