Her Campus (HC): Do you have any hidden talents?

Maddie Prat (MP): I can wiggle my ears and my pointer toe!

HC: Impressive. What are the best and worst classes you’ve taken at FSU?

MP: I’ve mostly only taken pre-reqs, but the worst was definitely accounting… never again. The best has been Introduction to Fiction. Everything else falls into business coursework since I used to be a business major, but that didn’t work out because I see myself doing something else in the future now. And accounting was really hard!

HC: I’ve heard that from so many people. What drew you to sociology?

MP: I would like to work with people and understand how they interact, and I also love planning events and working within communities, and this field allows me to do all of that.

HC: That sounds like a lot of fun. What three things are you obsessed with at the moment?

MP: Chips and salsa, Parks and Rec and dogs… and vine.

HC: Who is your favorite character on Parks and Rec and why?

MP: Andy! Just because he’s the best.

HC: Now, I know this is a tough question for you to answer, but what is your favorite vine?

MP: I can’t pick just one… you don’t understand how hard this is for me. It would take me hours, but I love this one.

HC: Classic. Do you have any dogs?

MP: None of my own sadly, but my boyfriend Garrett got a nine-month-old German Shepard/Husky mix about two months ago. We named him Jimbo and he is the funniest dog ever.

HC: I know you love eating, but what’s your favorite dish to cook?

MP: Chicken parm. It was a huge hit among my roommates, AKA you.

HC: That was the day when I realized choosing you, as my roommate, had been a good idea. What is your favorite thing about being a student at FSU?

MP: How do you even narrow it down? There’s so much to love about going to school here. The spirit is unbeatable, and the school colors aren’t too shabby either. I’ve definitely invested in some cute garnet and gold outfits since becoming a Seminole.
