Women can’t become a truly unstoppable force unless we get rid of an old shadow that holds us back: how harsh we can be to one another. So let’s start building each other up instead of tearing each other down. In honor of Women’s History Month, below are 8 ways women can uplift and support one another.

1. Admire her.

Not one person is the same. We were created to be different, admire one another’s strengths and natural beauty.

2. Stop competing, start celebrating.

Not everything is a competition, as women we should complement one another. Her success should be an inspiration for your success.

3. Stop being judgmental.

Women shouldn’t have to feel like they have to be cautious with being their self around other women. As women, we should connect, accept and understand one another for who we are.

4. Support her.

Instead of trying to make her mess up and fail or give up on her goals and dreams, support her in all she does. It goes a long way.

5. Appreciate her.

It is a wonderful characteristic to be able to appreciate something in another woman, we are also confirming and appreciating a quality within ourselves.

6. Respect her.

Do not disrespect another woman because her beliefs, background and boundaries differ from yours. Respecting her for her differences and coming together will help you with personal growth finding the power in those differences.

7. Uplift her.

We get enough degrading from men, stop using terms that define women in a negative way. We are not b*tches and h*es, instead we are Queens and beautiful women who have value.

8. Women unify.

Stand with each other, not against each other. Otherwise we’d be fighting the wrong battle.

ALONE WE ARE STRONG, BUT TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER.
