Slay Spring Break With This Outfit Inspo for Any Destination

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

It’s almost spring break! With countless destinations and endless outfit possibilities, where do you even begin? Start by gathering your girls and begin planning your dream vacay! Whether you’re flying or driving, we all know packing is the most stressful part of it all. But fear not: This guide is your one-stop shop for slaying your spring break look, no matter where your adventure takes you.

Given the time of the year, I know we’re all endlessly scrolling Pinterest trying to figure out what to wear, what the trends are, and what to order. Luckily, you can stop scrolling, because I’ve got the perfect inspiration for lounging in your cabana, hitting the city, or even dinner at the snow lodge.

Embrace the beachy vibes with bikinis and breezy dresses, or rock the urban jungle with statement pieces. For snowy adventures, cozy layers and chic accessories will keep you warm and stylish. With spring break just around the corner, it’s time to finalize your travel plans. Pack your essential items, gather your sources of inspiration, and get ready to make some memories!

Sun-Kissed & Stylish

The Bikini Fit

Pairing your favorite bikini under a sheer dress, maxi skirt, or jean shorts is the perfect casual and comfy fit. This outfit can be worn if you’re lounging poolside or going out during the day. You can dress this up or down with some heels or even with the perfect accessories and get the best of both worlds!

Cute and Comfy

Jeans aren’t even a question with the heat during the day. Linen sets are still in and made of such a breathable material that is perfect for the heat. These sets can be dressed up or down and styled in many ways based on the occasion. Whether you’re going to brunch or walking around the mall, pair this set with your favorite accessories and you’ll have the perfect fit!

Short Skirts for the Win

As we all know, Y2K fashion has made its comeback, and short skirts are essential to this trend. A low-rise mini skirt is perfect with any baby graphic tee and statement earrings. Adding an oversized jacket and boots would also be perfect for a night out!

City Strollin’

The Mob Wife

The city has always been my favorite place for experimental outfits. With the mob wife trend still going strong so far in 2024, this would be the perfect opportunity to try this aesthetic. Grab your animal print and fur coat, and don’t forget your red lipstick!

Graphic Tees & Bold Statements

One of my personal favorite fashion trends to date is streetwear, and what better destination to wear it? While this can be hit or miss, I personally love the baggy low-rise jeans, graphic tee, and sporty shoes paired with chic accessories. Though there’s a variety of how streetwear can be styled, it can be dressed up or down to your liking.

Casual Chic

Another of my personal favorite trends is the business casual chic style. Though this can be a little dressier, I love a trench coat paired with a sweater and skirt with tights underneath. Some knee-high boots, chunky jewelry, and the perfect handbag will always complement this look!

Slay the Snow

Outwear Obsession

When you’re not lounging in your cabin, you’ll need to break out your puffiest coat. Oversized puffer jackets, teddy coats, and wool sweaters are going to be your best friend in this weather. You can style them with jeans and boots, and accessories are always the perfect add-on!

Layers, layers, layers!

Turtlenecks may have a bad rep, but styling them under sweaters and throwing a leather jacket on top was my go-to when I was in England and Paris last spring break! Though it wasn’t snowing, it was still freezing, and this look was elegant and chic when paired with the right accessories.

The Finishing Touches

If you haven’t noticed my love for accessories so far, let me take it a step further. Jewelry, handbags, and a staple shoe can always elevate any look. You can add pops of color, dress up or down for a look, or add extra texture to your looks by accessorizing. However, in the cold, some of these accessories can be useful. Try adding a scarf or gloves!

Spring break is more than just an escape — it’s a chance to write your own adventure, express your unique style, and create memories that’ll last a lifetime. So pack your confidence, embrace the journey, and go forth and slay, queens!
