On August 1st of this year, a fusion boutique landed on the top of Gaines Street that is sure to become one of your go-to shopping spots in Tallahassee. #19 Boutique & RAW Cosmetics sets itself apart from any other boutique in Tallahassee by not only selling clothes, but by also selling homemade, organic skincare. Two local women named Rebekah Small and Chiara Gomez run the boutique. In the past, Rebekah has had a successful run at selling clothes on Ebay, while Chiara has always been passionate about raw cosmetics and skincare. The two teamed up to create their unique boutique when the space on Gaines Street became available this past April. They started from the ground up, creating all of the decorations, clothing racks and display tables by hand with the help of their significant others. All of their hard work definitely paid off, because their store looks like an Etsy girl’s dream.Â

Rachel tells us that some of their most popular clothing items include their bralettes and anything in the color garnet, for obvious reasons. Another unique aspect to #19 Boutique is that they sell a mixture of vintage and new clothing items. They even sell some brand names such as Free People. Looking around, there are some one-of-a-kind pieces that any girl would be lucky to get her hands on. Their clothes are sure to make you stand out and be the most fashionable girl at happy hour. By the way, they also have those coveted lace up body suits that are sold out everywhere else in Tallahassee.

For now, #19 Boutique plans on staying local, but would consider expanding to another Florida location later on. They plan on expanding their merchandise to include men’s fashion as well, making their boutique all the more diverse. Finally, there will be a store in Tally that your boyfriend won’t loathe you for dragging him into.Â

The RAW Cosmetics side to the boutique is equally impressive. Every single product is homemade with organic, natural ingredients made by Chiara herself. The work that she does is truly remarkable. When you look through all the products you get a very Lush vibe from them all. They even have their own version of bath bombs. So, if you’re a Lush fanatic and have been having withdrawals, Tallahassee finally has an answer in RAW Cosmetics. Some of their other products include lip scrubs, layered soap bars, bath soaks, body soufflĂ©s and coffee scrubs. However, their most popular skincare items are their facemasks, one of which includes real volcanic ash that aids in drawing out impurities. Testing out all the products, you’ll find that every single one of them have a different scent that is distinct and delicious.Â
