Fall is such a busy time of year! It always seems that the biggest stretch is the one between Halloween and Thanksgiving — and with Halloween season over, it seems to feel like all we have to look forward to is Thanksgiving Break. Turkey and stuffing, no quizzes or papers… Mmm. It’s going to be a long few weeks, but don’t fret. There are a ton of regular and touring concerts to attend in November to get you through it!

Every year Gaines Street is alive with autumn spirit for one day in the fall. This year it’s on November 7. With over 100 Tallahassee performers, as well as live music food trucks, sculptors, dancers, artists, face painters and more, Gaines Street Fest is sure to entertain all along Gaines Street on November 7.
2. FSU Homecoming Warchant with Zac Brown Band

Who doesn’t like Zac Brown Band? Don’t we wish we had our ‘toes in the sand’ right now? Following their three platinum-selling albums, Zac Brown Band released their latest album, Jekyll + Hyde, in April 2015. You don’t want to miss them! They will perform at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on Thursday, November 12.
3. Slow Magic with Beat Connection and Daktyl
Date: Sunday, November 15 @ 8:30 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.

Slow Magic’s name describes them quite well. Mostly chillwave and dance music, Slow Magic makes dreamy, simple dance tracks that refuse to let you stand still. They will be performing at Club Downunder on Sunday, November 15.
4. Tuesday Jazz Session
Date: Every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.
Location: Waterworks

Waterworks hosts an evening of live jazz music every Tuesday night. The house band plays the first set and several other musicians rotate out for the rest of the night. The Tuesday Jazz Session happens weekly on Tuesdays at 8:30pm at Waterworks.
5. Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Co. with No Bears Allowed Short Form Team
Date: November 16 @ 10:00 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.

Laugh off the thought of finals with Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Co. at Club Downunder. Upright Citizens Brigade was originally formed by several comedians, including Amy Poehler and Matt Besser. Opening are No Bears Allowed, a comedy group from Tallahassee. The groups will perform on November 16 at Club Downunder.
Fall is the best time of year! It can be stressful and terribly busy, but don’t forget to appreciate all that’s going on this time of year.
