With the days becoming longer, the weather warming up, and less than a month left of school, it’s already starting to feel like summer! With the warm season just around the corner, I am excited to break out my summer wardrobe. Here are some of my current favorite Pinterest fashion trends for the upcoming season.
Pendant Necklaces
Pendant jewelry has been in style for a while now, and I just absolutely need to get my hands on one of these necklaces. It all started with the silver puff heart necklace blowing up last year. Since then, there have been so many different variations of the necklace with different shapes and colors. From silver star pendants to multi-colored glass-blown shapes, there are so many cool options to choose from in this trend.
Levi’s shorts
A staple in my summer wardrobe definitely has to be a pair of mid-thigh Levi’s shorts. They are my go-to bottoms for the summertime because they are the perfect length and they look good with anything: a baby tee, a tank, or simply just a bikini top!
Gold Waist Chains & Belts
Although I am a silver girl at heart, summer is truly the best time to wear gold. The warmer days just get me so excited to layer gold on gold with necklaces, bangles, and other jewelry. A gold trend that has been going around recently has been waist chains and belts. I’ve seen pins of people layering a bunch of chains while mixing and matching different styles of waist jewelry. Another way to wear gold jewelry is belts. Specifically, I really like chunky 70s-style belts to wear on top of a skirt or funky pants.
Ribbons
I think the ribbon Pinterest trend is so cute. I’ve never actually worn ribbons in my hair before, but with this new trend, I’ve seen so many fun new ways to style them. One of the hairstyles that I definitely need to try is braiding a piece of ribbon through pigtails and tying bows at the end. Another hairstyle that I really love is just placing little bows all over the hair. This trend is so cute, and my favorite part is that it’s so inexpensive!
Adidas Campus 00s
If your TikTok for-you page is anything like mine, then you have probably seen the Adidas Campus 00s. These shoes have completely taken over my FYP and let me tell you, I have been influenced. They are a take on the classic 80s skater shoe, but with more of a Gen Z feel paired with the iconic thick laces. The Campus 00s come in so many fun, different colorways, but I have my eye on the dark green ones. I’m just crossing my fingers that Adidas restocks in time for summer.
Sunglasses
I love oversized sunglasses, but when it comes to summer, I have to opt for some mini sunnies. I’m a sucker for small oval or rectangle-shaped glasses. I love getting funky with my sunglasses and they are so fun to thrift. I especially look for shades that have a unique style or design!
Summer is the best time to experiment with your style before you get back to school. Hopefully, you get to experiment with your favorite Pinterest trends these upcoming months. I know I will!
