After five years since their previous record, Currents, which received great praise from critics, Tame Impala has brought us The Slow Rush. If you’re new to Tame Impala, the band focuses on what can be described as psychedelic rock, with aspects of alternative rock and neo-psychedelia. The group formed in 2007 and has sky-rocketed to the top of the charts since also receiving numerous awards such as Rolling Stones Awards Album of the Year for their 2012 record, Lonerism,as well as ARIA Album of the Year for Currents. The Slow Rushfeatures two of the 2019 singles from Tame Impala, “Borderline” and “Patience”.
