Roughly 25 minutes away from campus is the Cherokee Sink Trail. Bring your bathing suit because the trail to the sinkhole is about a mile long, and once you arrive you’ll be sufficiently warmed up and ready to take a dip. The Cherokee Sink Trail is the perfect place to sit and unwind and usually isn’t very crowded. Pack a picnic and a speaker to make the most out of an afternoon here – there may even be a rope swing hanging nearby.
