Trisha Paytas Is in Her Comeback Era and I’m Here for It

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

Throughout the years we have seen Trisha Paytas go through controversies, mental breakdowns, and fulfill almost every side quest imaginable in life. After her fallout with the Dobrik clan and the end of her relationship with Jason Nash, both of which came to a dramatic end, she began to transition into a new Trisha era we hadn’t seen before. She is officially in her Mother Trisha era, and I am so here for it.

If there’s one thing Paytas has done consistently throughout her career, it’s be real. She has always given us the good and the bad, even when the bad was her crying on the floor and having a mental breakdown. While yes, crying on the floor may seem like a crazy video to post, I know I’ve been there. Part of what we expect from influencers is for them to show us all these different aspects of their lives and she does exactly that. It’s great to see her finally move into an era where she’s giving us a lot of joyful content because that’s how she’s been genuinely feeling. She talks about how she’s found genuine friendship with Tana Mongeau. To see them come together after all their own individual controversies is so healing to me.

Let’s look into some of her accomplishments and how she’s made it to this point. She began by trying to be the fastest talker according to Guinness World Records and appeared on several talk shows after failing to achieve her goal. She then continued to create a YouTube channel before making an appearance on My Strange Addiction and in several music videos. Paytas made appearances on various shows while also creating clickbait content to gain more followers. Eventually, she started her music career, which many know by her single “I Love You Jesus.” She continued to pursue various appearances on shows, create social media content, and advance her music career before eventually starting a podcast with Ethan Klein called Frenemies. The podcast came to an abrupt ending in 2021 and she has kept making her social media content ever since.

Don’t get me wrong: Trisha is still Trisha. She’s still cosplaying, doing ASMR, and welcoming travelers into her tavern, all while raising a child (with another on the way). Now she’s been married for almost three years and is expecting her second child, whom she recently posted a gender reveal about, with her husband. Her latest endeavor is her Jan. 17 appearance on Call Me Daddy. She discusses growing up, her rise to fame, her pregnancies, being a girl’s girl or not, why she was in so many controversies, and much more.

While she may still do some things that are a bit out of the box, Paytas has found genuine friendships and has shown nothing but happiness for how her personal life is currently. As she continues to grow and change, I hope to keep seeing her thrive. With Trisha, we can never guess what’s going to come next, but we know it definitely won’t be boring.
