Everyone has had the thought that they would be forgotten. Everyone has had the feeling of being left out or overlooked. People deal with this concept in different ways. There are not a lot of outlets that really understand what one is going through when they feel this way. Rarely does one come across something that really connects with them in an emotional and mental way.

Musicals are one of the few performance types that can deeply connect with people in an emotional way, but also provide fun for the listen and or viewer. A new musical that tackles what it feels like to be the outcast in this ever growing world is called Dear Evan Hansen.

Plot: A letter that was never meant to be seen, a lie that was never meant to be told, a life he never dreamed he could have. Evan Hansen is about to get one thing he has always wanted, a chance to finally fit in.
