Another Music Midtown has come and gone. This year’s lineup was incredible, along with the food, drinks and weather. Let’s recap some of the highlights of this weekend and relive the memories that some of us were able to make.
The Artists
This year, the lineup had a mix of bigger artists and smaller bands, and all sorts of genres. Some fan favorites were Bruno Mars, Future, Weezer, Blink 182, and Big Sean. Some smaller bands that were also very talented and drew large crowds included Dua Lipa, Coin, HAIM, Judah and the Lion, AJR and Tove Lo.Â

The FoodÂ
As always, Piedmont Park was cluttered with a ton of delicious food trucks. Some of the most popular concession stands were Island Noodles, King of Pops, and Nectar, a delicious panini stand.
Waterloo Record Store and Signing Stage
Each year, a handful of artists kindly greet their fans who buy records and sign autographs. A few artists who chose to participate this year were Dua Lipa, AJR, Coin and Judah and the Lion. It is always so rewarding to meet the artists you adore and have them appreciate you right back.
Overall, Music Midtown 2017 was a blast. If you were able to attend this year, congratulations, and we hope you had a magical time. If you missed it this year, make sure to go next year! It is a weekend full of fun, good music, and good friends, and you won’t want to miss it.
