This is honestly my favorite time of the year because that means I can listen to Christmas music with it being socially acceptable! Here’s a list of some of my favorite Christmas albums to listen to!
Â
Christmas Portrait by The Carpenters (1978)
This is probably mostly attributed to the fact that I grew up listening to The Carpenters, but I think Karen Carpenter has the best voice for Christmas music. There’s something so comforting about her voice that it makes me want to curl up with a book by the fireplace and listen to the Carpenter’s album. Too bad I don’t have a fireplace.
Best Song on the Album: “Merry Christmas Darling”
Â
Christmas by Michael Buble (2011)
Michael Buble’s signature jazz style/twist on classic Christmas songs makes this album perfect to listen to during a holiday dinner party or just a relaxing night in.Â
Best Song on the Album: “Holly Jolly Christmas”
Â
Merry Christmas by Mariah Carey (1994)
Happy 25th anniversary to this iconic Christmas album! This album will always be one of the best simply because of Mariah’s hit “All I Want for Christmas is You,” but her rendition of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” is a close second.
Best Song on the Album: Do I even have to say it?- “All I Want for Christmas is You”
Â
Wrapped in Red by Kelly Clarkson (2013)
Kelly Clarkson’s personality is infectious. She just makes me want to be happy all the time so of course listening to her Christmas album this time of year just puts me in a holly jolly mood.
Best Song on the Album: “Underneath the Tree”

Happy listening and happy holidays!
