I have actually thought a lot about this. After changing it many times over the years I have decided it will be “From Here to the Moon and Back” by Dolly Parton. This song is actually so romantic and not at all in a cheesy way. Her voice also hits so differently in my soul that I feel like it pairs so well with the experience of getting married. Not to mention the fact that my partner loves Dolly Parton so it ended up working out really well. It would definitely have to be performed not played so I would need a wedding singer. But of course, it would be even better if I could be blessed by the queen herself to perform at my wedding.Â

To be honest, I’m not sure. I’ve never really thought about my wedding in much detail, but I would probably want it to be a Taylor Swift song or 2000s country song of some kind. Or maybe “Hearts Don’t Break Around Here” by Ed Sheeran.

The most beautiful, stunning, romantic song I can think of would have to be “Daylight” by Taylor Swift. This song melts my heart every time I hear it, and I can’t think of a song that represents what I want out of a romantic relationship more than “Daylight.” The way the song paints the picture of a new, mature and stable love is so different from Taylor’s earlier depictions of romance (Red primarily). When Miss Swift says: “I wanna be defined by the things that I love” and “I just think you are what you love” it hits home. I want that too, I think that too.

Ever since the first time I heard the song “Lover (First Dance Remix)” by Taylor Swift I knew that it was going to be the first dance at my wedding (I literally do not care what my future spouse says, it is happening). It is just such a beautiful song that perfectly portrays love. Ideally, this would be performed by Taylor herself at our wedding, but I would also settle for a recording that was recorded with my wedding in mind, because beggars can’t be choosers.Â

I don’t have a serious response to this because I think this choice will strongly depend on who I end up with. However, if they were a musician for any reason and supported my love of Disney, I would POSSIBLY JOKINGLY MAYBE choose “You are the Music in Me” from High School Musical 2. I really don’t know but it would be great and reminiscent.
