HC: What is something crazy you have done this summer?

AK: This summer I flew around the world! I went from Israel to Thailand, to Australia, to New Zealand, and then back to America.

HC: What is your favorite place to visit?

AK: My favorite place to visit is Connecticut to visit my grandpa! He is the funniest person I know and I always have the most amazing time with him. My grandpa is one of the most influential people in my life and when I was a kid I wanted to be just like him. When I was 10, he taught me to play pool, and just this summer I beat him for the first time and I had never seen him so proud of me before in my life.

HC: What is your favorite thing to wear?

AK: I love to dress comfy, so when it’s winter, all I wear are leggings. I have an entire drawer just filled with 50 pairs of leggings, but I will wear them with anything, t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts. I always wear boots to finish it off. In the summer I wear a lot of different things, but my favorite summer outfit is a pair of high wasted jean shorts, with a t-shirt or tank, tucked in, and converse sneakers.

HC: What is your most prized possession?

AK: My most prized possession is a blanket that I got from camp that I went to after going there for five years. While I was at camp, I really found out who I was and my experience there made me the funny outgoing person I am today, so this blanket is a momentum for me keep on finding out who I am.

HC: Do you have any fears? What are they?

AK: One of my fears is for my friends and family I have living in Israel. There has been a lot of war in the Middle East, especially this past year, and I have been afraid that I am going to get a call one day  informing me that someone I care a lot about has been injured or worse.

HC: What is your favorite thing about being a member of AXID (Alpha Xi Delta)?

AK: I have a lot of favorite things about being in AXID, but my favorite is definitely my Greek family. I feel like I really do have a family away from home. I would do anything for any of the Diamond Family members and I know that they would all do anything for me. They are the best friends a girl could have and we have so much fun when we are together. I know these are the girls will be by my side for the rest of my life. Also the t-shirts aren’t bad either!

HC: T-shirts are always a plus! Where could we find you on a Friday night?

AK: On Friday night you can definitely find me at the Green Turtle, because it’s karaoke night. I love going with my sisters and friends and just having a lot of fun. I have never been a good singer but when I go with my friends we go and sing a lot of old songs and we have a really good time.

HC: What is your ultimate life goal?

AK: My life goal is to become a pediatrician, and eventually own my own private practice. Maybe even specialize in children who are affected with autism.
