Meet Kaeley Brady– other wise known as “KK.” You’ve probably seen her around campus studying for comm exams or maybe you’ve came across her Vegan-food Instagram account “The Guacward-Kael.”  In between being a full-time student and working part-time at local jewelry shop, I managed to get the scoop on KK’s plans for after graduation and her food Instagram account!

Major: Communications with a concentration in Public Relations & Entrepreneurship Practice minor

Hometown: Sterling, VA

How did you get the idea to have a food Instagram? I was cooking more as a vegan & I was eating more colorful foods which lead to lots of unnecessary food pictures.

What are your future plans for the “Guacward Kael?” I don’t really know yet.  I started the instagram as a hobby & now that I’ve somewhat built it up I’m making a website.  The website will have my recipes and posts about living a plant-based lifestyle.  After that all comes into place I would like to make a cookbook. (www.theguacwardkael.com)

How long have you been a vegan? 2 ½ years

Did you always love to cook? Yes!

What’s your favorite dish to make? Cashew creme pasta! It sounds weird but it gives it a creamy flavor.

What are your plans for after college? (See dream job) / maybe masters in Nutrition / something with Digital PR  / who knows

Dream job? Own a clothing boutique, selling high fashion vegan friendly clothes!

Rapid fire round:

Favorite movie: Step Brothers

Favorite food: Guac Guac Guac

Celebrity crush: James Franco

Favorite memory about college?  Studying abroad in Italy!!!

Favorite place: Swiss Alps

Ideal Date: Netflix & chill…Real Answer: Something random & spontaneous… (or chipotle)

Netflix addiction: I’ve watched the first 2 episodes of every series & then failed.

Stay tuned for the launch of Guacward Kael’s website and be sure to follow on Instagram @theguacwardkael !!
