Hobbies: DJing and Music Producing, Hip hop/bboy dancing, basketball, fitness and weightlifting, singing and songwriting, backpacking, skiing, wake boarding, surfing, rock climbing, reading wikipedia articles, TED talks, philosophizing, debating geopolitics, doing anything that will make a crazy story later, and drunken pictionary.
HC: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
EB: I see myself as a highly successful music producer and executive of a record label, putting out music that people really enjoy listening to and doing my best to make a positive impact on the world.
HC: What is your ideal date?
EB: A trip to the local playground to swing on the swing sets. Damn, I miss those things. Then we decide to make an impromptu trip to NYC or something crazy like that. We end up drunk at a salsa club and probably almost get thrown out after trying to partner dance on top of the bar. Then late night pizza stand, we make friends with all the homeless guys, we run around the city singing 90’s pop songs and have all sorts of other adventures.
HC: What song do you think describes your personality?
EB: ‘Damn It Feels Good to be a Gangster’ by the Geto Boys
HC: Who is your celebrity crush?
EB: Carlton from ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’.
HC:How would you describe your style?
EB: I like creating interesting outfits that match the colors of the season, and I often try to match a scene with my choice of colors. For example in the summer I like to wear a mix of deep and light blues, or yellow and khaki, to match the colors of a summer sky and ocean or sunny beach. In the fall I like brown boots and sweaters in muted tones; winter I like charcoal, grey and white tones; and springtime I go for pastels. My choice of clothes is casual-GQ with an occasional touch of urban flair. My go-to brands are G-Star, Diesel, and of course JCrew.
HC: What advice would you give a girl trying to impress you?
EB: My advice would be, don’t try to impress me! Try to get to know me and make it fun. Flirting or dating shouldn’t be two people trying to prove something to each other. It should be two people enjoying themselves, while building chemistry and learning about each other to figure out if there is compatibility or not.
