What’s in Her Bag?: Dani Roussey

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at George Mason University chapter.

I have to confess that I’m not a bag person. I typically fight to fit my necessities into my pockets or I pack them in my prized North Face backpack before making my way to class. Pictured above is my, “I’m wearing jeans and heels, I guess I should be an adult and bring a bag” bag.

I always have my wallet, keys and phone.  My phone is a dinosaur and I’m jealous of those that have the iPhone, but my pantech “Laser” is fairly indestructible and it has a key board so I’m content for now.  I’m very nostalgic, so my car keys have both my “Bel Air High School Class of 2008” key chain and my mom’s “Class of ‘68” pendent.

If I’m at work or school I always bring my planner and a handful of pens.  Without my planner, I am directionless.  Making to do lists has become a daily necessity and my “At-A-Glance” planner has a section just for notes in the back.

I typically carry around a headband and some bobby-pins in case my hair situation gets out of control.  I only use bobby-pins from Sally’s beauty supply – they come in a tin of 200 and have great hold.  I have thick hair so this is a must have.

Sitting in the middle of my headband is my American Eagle “AE Bohemian” perfume roller.  The scent is a mix of citrus and wildflowers, and has been my favorite scent since summer.
Check back next week for a new What’s In Her Bag? from a Her Campus staff member!

Sabel is a senior at George Mason University majoring in History and Economics. Although she'd rather stay a student forever, she is excited to see what the future brings her in the fashion industry. Besides her endeavors at HerCampus, Sabel is a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista.com writing the Style Advice of the Week column for Mason. Adding to her busy schedule are her duties in her sorority, volunteering for Operation Smile, contributing to the social media world, feeding her soda addiction, shopping at J.Crew and coloring everything around her pink. And yes, the last three are major priorities in her book.
