Fall is officially here in Georgetown, although the warmer weather some days may make us think otherwise. Yet, the pumpkin market is up and running. From pumpkin spice lattes to pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes, it’s hard to miss something pumpkin this season. Maybe it’s a girl thing, but when pumpkin season roles around we all shouldn’t be afraid to admit that it’s almost as exciting as waking up on Christmas morning. The smell of pumpkin is enough to give us all a warm and fuzzy feeling inside (you all know what I’m talking about). Here’s my list of the 5 best spots on campus to get your pumpkin fill!
1.    The Corp: Head over to Vittle Vittles or any of your favorite Corp coffee shops to get a good dose of pumpkin. Vittles has pumpkin flavored recipes and the Corp coffee shops have anything from pumpkin drinks to pumpkin muffins.
2.    Saxby’s: Located right outside of campus, Georgetown’s favorite coffee shop is filled with pumpkin goodies. My favorite pumpkin drink from Saxby’s has to be its seasonal pumpkin pie chai.
3.    Einstein’s: Go to this popular bagel shop at Car Barn or in Leavey and you can be sure to leave with a sweet pumpkin drink and your pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese!
4.    Cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes: Georgetown is infamous for its cupcakes and who doesn’t love pumpkin flavored cupcakes. Whether you’re a Baked and Wired fanatic or addicted to Georgetown Cupcake you can be sure to get a delicious pumpkin cupcake. Pumpkin Spice and Georgetown Cupcake’s Pumpkin Cheesecake are the popular seasonal cupcakes.
5.    Starbucks: It may not be as exciting as these other popular Georgetown eats, but Starbucks, in my opinion, does have some of the best pumpkin treats. Go to the location on M street or to Leavey and leave Starbucks with a slice of pumpkin bread and a pumpkin spice latte… Sounds delicious to me!
