Â
Turn-ons: The only type of woman I’m interested in is one who loves Jesus and is intent on pursuing Him passionately- which can make getting their attention difficult. Argh. (Of course, if she loves dancing too, that’s never a bad thing.)
Â
Turn-offs: Small talk and not laughing when I make a pun that is absolutely freaking brilliant.
Ideal Date: It’s kind of long. Start out with a service project (washing cars, soup kitchen, etc.), hiking afterwards, and have a picnic at a scenic yet still place we find. Find a unique place to do a goofball photo shoot, then get back to town to clean up. Dinner at an avant-garde restaurant with an eccentric atmosphere, and then off to our favorite local joint for dessert. Coffee with a side of sunset while getting to know each other better. Top off the night with star-gazing and a series of probing philosophical ponderings.
Fun Facts: I’m actually a guest author on a blog called goodguyswag.com- but, curiously, my first article was basically an accident. Also, recently a dog ate my communion bread out of my hand. It was more fun for the dog than for me.
Dream Job: When I was 6, it was professional tap-dancing. However, now I’d have to say that it’s being a Pastor of a smaller church.
Celebrity Crushes: Emma Watson. But I’m pretty sure Chris Pratt and I could have a bromance too. Hopefully, Emma won’t get jealous.
Favorite Color: In theory? Green. But fashion-wise, black and grey tones.
Hobbies: Writing, reading, soccer, drawing (ink and graphite are my favorite mediums), speaking in accents, cooking, making puns, investing in the next generation, running, dancing badly, chalking the block, speaking Spanish, drinking coffee, talking with old people, learning, and studying the Word.
Organizations involved in: I am a team leader at Chick Fil A at Statesboro, a full-time student at Georgia Southern University, and an intern at Compassion Christian Church.
