I think that drink orders at a restaurant can tell a lot about a person, so here is what I would imagine these majors would order at Commons, Waldo’s, or any other coffee shop nearby! As it gets chillier outside, we are officially in coffee shop season, so seeing others’ drink orders can be prevalent with everyone walking around with their to-go cups. This is purely based on vibes, so no offense taken if you don’t agree! I also think that this may need a part two – there are a lot of majors and a lot of coffees out there!

MATH

Black Coffee: I feel like people who do math always seem like they have a plan in place and are very methodical, leaving no time for debating on coffee flavors. These majors seem like they like to stick to the classics!

ENGLISH

London Fog: Yes, this has the word London in it but also as an English major myself I can say that we do like tea for the most part. English majors definitely have dreams of going to London, so you can emulate that with this earl gray specialty tea!

BIOLOGY

Strawberry Acai Refresher: I feel like having this drink in a lab setting would make more sense than a hot drink, and if I were memorizing a bunch of terms while studying, I would definitely want something sweet to get me through it!

HISTORY

Chai Latte: I correlate history with Fall for some reason and Chai lattes with their autumnal spice flavor with the season as well, so these two definitely go together in my mind!

PHYSICS

Double Shot Espresso: I always imagine physics majors staying up all night studying because wow – that workload seems daunting and is also impressive. I think an extra boost of caffeine could help with that schedule!

MUSIC

Hot Chocolate: Music majors spend a lot of time practicing their instruments, and I think that having a sweet treat like hot chocolate provides the ultimate motivation to settle in and work on music!

PSYCHOLOGY

Iced Latte: With their knowledge about human behavior and emotions, I would imagine a psych major to be very thoughtful about their iced latte flavor, whether they order a perfectly planned combination every time or switch between caramel, vanilla, and etc.!
