HC: What has been your biggest challenge in college?

“That period between my freshman and sophomore year of stepping out. Overcoming the anxiety of being social and getting to know people outside of my roommates; I’m not the most social person. Looking back at my freshman year I would’ve never expected to be where I am today and it was just a matter of stepping out.”

HC: What made you into the person you are today?

“My experiences throughout my life. The hardships, rough times and the saying ‘theres always a light at the end of the tunnel’. My mentors have been pivotal throughout my development, examples being my older brother along with other people at Georgia State who motivated me along my journey.”

Her Campus: What organizations are you involved in on campus?

“I am apart of 1913 Society, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity Inc., Spotlight Programs Board, New Student Orientation, Student Alumni Association Board of Directors.”

HC: Who and/or what is your inspiration?

“My father because how he taught me and the environment he raised me in inspires me to be a leader and a man in society. He always made sure we ate and had the best of care. I may not of had the latest but you couldn’t tell me he wasn’t the best father. His work ethic is something I strive to not only be like but better than everyday”

HC: How would others describe you?

“Mellow, busy, determined, funny, genuine.”

HC: What do you look for in a significant other?

“Honesty, because you have to have something to establish a foundation on and if you start with a lie then how you can go from there, and also open-minded and down to Earth.”

HC: What’s something about you that nobody knows?

“I can’t tell you because then everyone would know”

“Learn to walk a tight rope”
