Anyone who goes to GW knows that the Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2017 is THE social event of the year. Well, at least every four years! Regardless of your political views, the Inaugural Ball is an amazing experience that you will only get once during your time at GW.
With a fancy event, comes a fancy dress code: black tie. Everyone wants to look their best, so why not do it for free?
Â
The GW Inaugural Ball is hosting the “Martha and George’s Pop-Up Shop” on Thursday, December 8th and Friday, December 9th from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm! Come bring all of your friends and shop for beautiful, lightly-worn formal attire. Items for “sale” include: gowns, cocktail dresses, tuxedos, suits, dress shoes, accessories, and wraps. Essentially, anything you need for the big night will be here, in the Marvin Center, Room 407!
The best part is that everything is 100% free. However, you will need your GWorld in order to check in and check out.
Â
If you already have an outfit picked out, you can still donate or volunteer! All donations may be dropped off Monday-Friday now until Thursday, December 1st:
