Last Thursday night was Hamilton’s Multicultrual Thanksgiving! Â The night was a success due to all the hard work put in by all the groups involved. The groups included: Hillel, MSA, Hamilton Spirituality Initiative, The Newman Council, and Christian Fellowship. Â Each group was responsible for cooking Thanksgiving dishes of their choice! Some of the food included: cranberry sauce, pumpkin soup, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, stuffing, risotto, rolls, macaroni and cheese, and of course lots of turkey!!Â
It was a night of eating and socializing, but also a night of being spiritual. Â Professor Plate from the Religious Studies department read a piece of writing that highlighted the importance of bread and how eating brings people together. Â It was a very interesting piece that made a lot of people think about how important meals are in communities.
