1.    The Japanese Lover by Isabel Allende
This story about love lost and found after WWII has been praised as “Monumental…a multi-generational epic of fate, war, and enduring love” by Harper’s Bazaar and we can’t wait to read it.
2.    A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
Praised as the “Most Charming Book of the Year” by Booklist, this is a feel-good read that is perfect for a beach day.
3.    Citizen: An American Lyric by Claudia Rankine
If you attended Claudia Rankine’s talk at Hamilton this winter but were unable to read her book first, now is the perfect chance to catch up on it.
4.    Find Her by Lisa Gardner
A psychological thriller about a college student captured on spring break, this book is probably best read in the daylight.
5.    The Martian by Andy Weir
If you loved the movie why not read the book too? Other Oscar nominees based off of books include The Revenant and Room.
