Don’t you miss the days of trick or treating with your friends? Going door to door picking out all of your favorite candy and sorting it out when you returned home. Although we might be a tad old to enjoy Halloween like we used too, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy your Halloweekend in the Hampton Roads area.
Bemis Haunted House – Hampton University
If you’re planning on saving some money this Halloweekend and looking for a thrill, check out Hampton University’s 2nd annual Bemis Haunted House. Dubbed, The Bemis Horror Story, the event will take place this Saturday, October 28, from 8 P.M. to 1 A.M. Perfect for students looking to stay on campus. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Howl-O-Scream – Busch Gardens
For those who don’t mind venturing off campus, Busch Gardens, located in Williamsburg, is hosting it’s annual Howl-O-Scream Haunted Houses attractions. Yes, you read that right, there are more than one. Busch Gardens has a total of 7 indoor and outdoor haunted houses to choose from. It is said to be one of the scariest attractions Hampton Roads has to offer. If you think you’re brave enough check out this video. Howl-O-Scream will continue through October 29, 2017 @ 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased upon entrance or on the website.
Spooky Acres Haunted House
Lastly, we have the March of Dimes, Spooky Acres Haunted House. This house has been running for 23 years and is one of the most well known in the area. It is located in Norfolk, VA at the Military Crossing Shopping Center. The house features an autopsy room, an electric chair, and even a scary maze. The house runs through October 31. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or on location between 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 pm.
