How did you first get into music?
-Music has always been a huge part of my life. When I was a young boy, I was a member of my church’s choir and from there, I knew that music was where I wanted to be. Being told “Your voice is beautiful” or “I love to hear you sing” encouraged me even more and made me want to delve more into music. Music is definitely the key to a lot of my problems.
When did you realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
-As I stated before, it all hit me when I was a child. Before, I wanted to be a lawyer like every other child, but something told me that music is where I need to be. It’s definitely not an easy pursuit being that there are a million other people attempting to rise to stardom, just like myself, however I try to make sure that I am doing my best to inspire, grow and give the world all of me.
What do you currently do in the field of music?
-Currently, I attend the University of Hartford-Hartt School for Jazz Studies where I learn more about music on a daily basis. I also write some of my own music, record and work harder to get where I need to be. I don’t necessarily label myself as a full -blown artist just yet, but sooner than later you will hear my music everywhere.
When are the release dates for your upcoming music projects?
-Well, I am working on some stuff as we speak. I am releasing my very first video this Saturday, November 1, 2014 to my single on ITunes, so be on the lookout for that. I am also planning to release a small project early 2015, so definitely check my social networks for the exact release dates. Each body of work is important to me, so I try my best to make sure I am presenting the best to the world.
