This skin and hair care brand was given its inspiration by the founder’s love for her hometown of New Orleans and her Creole culture. I love the shampoo in this line for my low porosity curls, and the King Cake Deep Conditioner has a cute toy baby in it (just like in real king cakes). This brand is 100 percent organic and all products are handcrafted.

If you are a woman of color you know the difficulty of finding lip, eye, and skin products that are the right shades. This brand makes their products with darker skin tones in mind, and I personally love the lip selections. 

If you love playing with makeup, look no further. Juvia’s place has a wide range of bold palettes to keep you from getting bored. Mented Cosmetics is more of the everyday nude look, while Juvia’s Place has shades that would look great for going out or in an instagram picture.

I personally love getting my lotions and body butters off Etsy, so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this brand and loved it just as much. They sell vegan, handmade skin and body care products, and I think the body butters that smell good enough to eat are where this brand really shines.
