You know the rumors. “It’s impossible to get into clubs on campus. They are just too exclusive.” Well, I am here to tell you about my top ten clubs with no cuts.
10. The Crimson
Though there is a comp process, 10 of the 12 boards on the Crimson have no cuts. Whether your interests lie in business, tech, art, or writing, they have a board for you.
9. European Society
Their academic committee brings speakers, their social committee throws events from Oktoberfest to the Venetian Ball, and they all get together at their monthly socials. Did I mention the socials have cheese platters?
8. Crimson Crave
From dhall hacks, to recipes, to restraunts, Crimson Crave reviews all the food you’re down to try. To join email president.crimsoncrave@gmail.com.
7. Developers For Development
Are you socially aware? Developers for Development creates software for NGOs and non profits for social good.
6. Pop Culture Club
No cuts, no comp. This brand new club started this semester and is totally inclusive. If you love pop culture – watching it, reading about it, or writing about it – you’re in good company. Contact Emily Zauzmer at ezauzmer@college.harvard.edu.
5. Archery
They’ll give anyone a bow and arrow, now and days. Are you ready to get your Katniss Everdeen on? To join email cameronkrulewski@college.harvard.edu, meganyerton@college.harvard.edu, or rodrigocordova@college.harvard.edu.
4. HoCo
Yes, you do have to go through elections to be on the board BUT everyone in the house is encouraged to go to weekly House Committee meetings to help plan events, vote on house swag, and make their college experience exactly what they want it to be.
3. Caribbean Club
“The Carribean Club brings all the heat you need in this cold, cold place, and I’m not just talking about food. The dancing, the people, the energy, the weather, everything is HOT in Carribean culture.” – John Matthews, Carribean Club Social and Outreach Chair
If you like hotness, email johnmatthews@college.harvard.edu.
2. Bowling Club
Free bowling, free food, free transportation, and no commitment. Bowling Club meets just one Friday a month from 3-6pm and serves as a completely free way to get out of the Harvard bubble and meet new people. To join just email harvardbowling@gmail.com.
1. Her Campus
We are always looking for new writers. We give you the freedom to talk about what you think is important, how you think it should be discussed. On top of that, we have monthly bonding nights in addition to the excursions we get to go on thanks to Her Campus perks. To join just email amyzhao@hercampus.com or vanassalopez@hercampus.com.
