Many students are on a budget as they are paying for their own tuition, books, and rent. You won’t be a student forever, so why not take advantage of some student discounts? Usually the discount is 5-10%, but can be more than that at select businesses! Below are 10 places you can use your UH Student I.D. to save some money on Oʻahu!*

Are you a UH student from out of state or a student just wanting to travel the world? Either way, there is an airline discount for you! Hawaiian Airlines, and many other airlines, is providing student discounts through StudentUniverse. You will just need to create an account with your school email and then you will have access to many discounted flights all over the world! If you are flexible with your dates, they will give you a price calendar letting you know when the cheapest flights are. StudentUniverse also provides discounts for hotels. Have fun traveling!

Who doesn’t love treating themselves to a manicure or pedicure every once in a while? Nani Nails is located near the UH area on South King Street. Be sure to bring your Student I.D. for a 10% discount!

Are you an avid yogi, looking to become a yogi, or just want to take one yoga class? Well, both CorePower and Yogaloha provide student discounts for UH students. CorePower has three locations: Kahala, Ward, and Kapolei. Yogaloha’s studio is located in Waikiki. For CorePower, make sure to email member@corepoweryoga.com to get a discount on their All Access Membership (prior to signing up) or mention to them that you’re a UH student when signing up for one class over the phone. For Yogaloha, just make sure to mention you’re a UH student when signing up for any of their classes/packages.
Goodwill: Her Campus Hawai’i encourages our readers to try and be sustainable in their lives. One way to be sustainable is by shopping for secondhand clothes and items! Goodwill Hawai’i provides 20% off discounts on sundays to those that bring their UH student I.D.

Even if you don’t have a Hawai’i State I.D., you can still get into Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve for free. Make sure to bring your UH student I.D. for free admission and $1 parking. Have fun snorkeling and swimming, but please be mindful of the sea creatures and bring reef safe sunscreen!

I’m so happy that we have a Madewell on Oʻahu now! Madewell is a women’s clothing shop located at Ala Moana Shopping Center. They offer a 15% discount for teachers and students, both in stores and online. Make sure to verify your student status if you are shopping online. Madewell also has a denim recycle program where you can bring in any jeans (even if they’re the high school jeans that are out of style) and get $20 off a pair of Madewell Jeans. Pacific Skydiving: Have you ever wanted to skydive out of a plane over Hawai’i? Well now is your chance! Pacific Skydiving is providing student discounts for tandem jumps as long as you have your UH student I.D. This is one I would definitely recommend!
