It’s almost halfway through the semester collegiettes, and it’s hard to believe that finals are only weeks away. As I’m approaching my final semester in college, I still have a lot of things to figure out (don’t remind me). After three years at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, I’ve finally perfected one thing- what to keep in my school bag at all times.

First, lets start with the bag. Mine has leather straps that are comfortable enough to wear over my shoulder and has a shoulder strap I can attach so I can carry my books. What I love the most is that it has a detachable pouch where I store all my cash, cards and phone. It’s a bag that’s spacy enough for my laptop and planner, but has small compartments to fit my in-between-class essentials. No only that, but it’s stylish and sleek and can go with any outfit

Umbrella

Sporadic Hawaiian rainfall has toyed with me one too many times on this campus! After arriving to my destinations soaking wet, I’ve learned to always keep an umbrella within reach. I picked one with a fun pattern to brighten up even the rainiest days.

Sea Salt Spray

On those days where I’m going straight to class after the beach (I know you’ve done it), this spray saves my life. This turns my rats’ nest into beautiful beach waves, Just a few sprays onto damp hair and give my strands a twirl, and it perfects my salty locks.

5 Hour Energy

Like all college students, I never get enough sleep. The pink lemonade flavor of 5 Hour Energy is the perfect pick me up when I don’t have time to stop at Starbucks (have you seen the lines at Campus Center). The great think about this drink is that it doesn’t give you that 2 p.m. crash that most energy drinks do.

Cleansing Facial Wipes

Hot Hawaiian sun and make up just doesn’t mix. To freshen up after a humid day, I keep these with me as they are the perfect size to carry in my bag These suckers get the job done with just one wipe. Seriously, talk about doing werk.
