It’s the end of the year and so it’s time to look back on 2016. We interviewed many interesting people (and one goose) and learned more about the people and institutions that make our university so great. Here are some of the most read profile stories from this autumn term – give them a read if you haven’t already!
Our most-read profile stories were about fashion: we talked to four students about their personal style and what their fashion choices say about them. You can read about Krista and Iitu here and Lotta and Ruth here.
Not all our interviewees were people this semester. We also sat down with SUB ry’s mascot Ferdinand the Goose, who got so excited about all the publicity that he ran away with some Aalto University students briefly after his interview. (He did return to his home in the New Student Building box eventually.)
Another one of our most popular pieces was a two part story about the University Museum. We met the Museum Director and chatted about the University’s rich history and the museum’s vast collection. You can read Part 1 here and Part 2 here.
Finally, we also talked to a teacher, this time an English philology lecturer. Mark Shackleton is well loved by students and he shared with us his thoughts on teaching as well as some advice on how to make the most of your time at university.
Who would you like to see us interview next year?
