Your 5 New Favorite Fashion Blogs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at High Point chapter.

Admit it: you get tired of refreshing Pinterest during class. You need some new sites to frequent. We did the work for you, now all you have to do is set aside the time to waste reading. Here’s 5 fashion blogs you’ll be instantly obsessed with. Sorry we’re not sorry.

The Glamourai: Kelly Framel just recently switched from a place on blogspot to her own website. She designs her own jewelry, collaborates with designers, styles photoshoots, attends NYFW, and is all around
fabulous. Go to her “Shop” section and she has links to her favorite items so you, too, can be as chic as she is.

Cupcakes and Cashmere: I’ll come right out and say it: I want to be Emily Schumann. She, too, has collaborated with designers (hello, custom Coach purse anyone?!) and I’ve even come across some of her
outfits on Pinterest. She always posts the most delicious looking recipes, and her “Five Things” posts always leave me thinking about what I’m feeling thankful for.

Garance Dore: Garance comes across as the whimsical foreign best friend you wish you had. Her blog is in French, translated into English and the reading is well worth your time. Her stories are fabulous! Who doesn’t want a behind the scenes look at every Fashion Week?

Sea of Shoes:If you love shoes, you’ll die when you what Jane Aldridge has in her closet. With an eclectic sense of style and range of interests, Jane seems older than she is. But you can’t help but admire a girl who has a shoe for every occasion.

What I Wore: Jessica Quirk takes a picture of her outfit everyday. And she looks adorable everyday. This site gives so much inspiration for the pieces you have in your closet but don’t know how to wear. She has a real-person wardrobe, and lists out where she got every single thing so you can copy the look!

Christina Buttafuoco is a sophomore Communications-Journalism Major with a minor in English Writing at High Point University. She is a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, a lover of musicals, and an avid viewer of the Food Network. Christina grew up on Long Island, NY and headed down south to North Carolina during those awkward middle school years. Before she moved, her best friend ripped out pages from a fashion magazine and told her not to forget what fashion was. She didn't. Now Christina hopes to be an editor for one of those magazines one day. For now, she is so excited to bring Her Campus to HPU.
