It’s officially November, which means we are halfway through the fall semester. I know, crazy right? For some, this semester has gone by in a blur, for others, this semester has dragged on and you can’t wait for it to end. But no matter how our semester has gone, EVERYONE hits a mid semester slump at some point. This slump can affect our grades, mental health, friendships, relationships, and so much more. To beat this mid semester slump, follow these tips and tricks to power through the rest of the semester, and finish feeling amazing.
Prioritize Your Schoolwork
We’re all in college for the same reason: to get a degree, duh! All of us hard-working ladies need to keep up with our classes to get those As. If missing one party or hangout with friends gives you the chance to study for that 9:35 a.m. exam, DO IT. You put in those study hours, you’ll get that A, graduate and become a big time girl boss in the real world.

Make Time For Friends
Ok, let me backtrack here. Yes, your schoolwork should be your number one priority. But at the same time, don’t go hibernate in the library for 3 weeks (guilty as charged) with your head in the books. If you do nothing but study 24/7, you will burn yourself out. Take time to hang out with your friends, catch up on each other’s lives, and do something you enjoy to take your mind off of the impending finals that will be here before we know it.

Give Yourself a Minute, or a Day
We all need to take time for self-care. If we don’t take care of ourselves, we can’t be the best version of ourselves that we want to portray to the world. After all of your studying this semester, be sure to do something for you, that makes you feel good. If it’s just hanging out with friends, going shopping, getting your nails done, going to the beach, anything, do it if it makes you feel good.
