5 Up and Coming Musicians From Coachella That You NEED To Listen To

The Holy Grail of music festivals of music festivals has just recently ended. Coachella is a two-weekend, three-day music festival held near Palm Springs, California. The line up this for the festival this year was out of control in the best of ways. And with that, here are 5 up and coming artists from Coachella that you NEED to listen to!

1. MS MR

This alternative duo consists of Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow. The vocals by Plapinger onto of the smooth synthesized beats by Hershenow are both calming and empowering. If you are looking for an artist to add to your homework playlist, then MS MR is a perfect addition.

2. Haim

This girl group consists of three sisters from Los Angeles; their songs sound like soft rock from the 70’s with a hint of upbeat pop.

3. Martin Garrix

You may have danced your heart out to Garrix’s hit song “Animals” while in the club, but what you may not know is that this Dutch cutie is only 17 years old. His music is similar to the electronic music that you would hear in the underground European clubs.

4. CHVRCHES

This Scottish electronic pop band uses synthesizers to make soft, upbeat music that will leave its listeners feeling cheerful.  Their music has been featured on MTVU and in multiple video games such as FIFA 14.

5. Sam Smith

This British man has a voice that is full of soul. He has a voice that has the potential to make someone melt into butter. His music is perfect for those days where you are feeling smitten and want to indulge in the sweetest of songs.
